Sessions are £15 an hour. (As a guideline, a quality rough demo can take as little as two hours. A fully produced and mastered track can take as little as four.)

Discount rates for block bookings. Evening and weekend appointments are available.

  • If you already have a song written and ready to record, in order to fully maximise your recording experience it is advisable to be as prepared as possible. You may want to bring with you music which you have used as inspiration for your ‘sound’, you may wish to bring lyric sheets or chords if you have them, and you ought to also be as rehearsed as possible if you are going to be peforming on the recording. Time is often wasted in the studio because a song needs more work or the performance needs practising.
  • If you don’t have a song prepared, have some lyrics but no melody or have a vague idea for a song, your session may take a little longer.  The time it takes depends on how complex a piece you wish to create and can vary, but a full songwriting and recording session can be completed in 2-3 hours.  If you require creative help with a song, I would be more than happy to provide this.
  • If you wish to do a cover of a song using a karaoke backing track this is really quite quick and dependent on vocals can take as little as an hour.  If you are covering a song and wish to have it produced in a different style to the original then you would need to allow 2-3 hours.

All of these time estimates can vary considerably depending on what level of service you require, but I will always try to let you know how long I think it will take to record your piece. For very complex music I’m more than happy to do the work over as many sessions as you wish. Feel free to give me a call if you have any queries at all on 07740 355745. Don’t be shy. 🙂
